Local, regional, and state government officials, as well as professionals involved with the land development industry have many questions about sustainable development.

For instance, what exactly is sustainable development? How can we encourage or implement new ordinances to foster them? Does it cost more? What are the real benefits to sustainable development? What innovative designs and techniques will drive demand for people to want to live, work, and play in a sustainable development?

This one-day seminar featuring a land developer, a civil engineer, a land use planner, and an industry financial expert – all members of Sustainable Land Development International, the leading advocate of the triple-bottom-line approach to community and industry sustainability – will provide these answers and more.

The Reinventing Communities workshop is geared toward industry professionals (land developers, planners, engineers, landscape architects, and economic development personnel) and real estate professionals as well as community leaders, such as council and board members and professional municipal staff.
